Tanya Russell, a native New Yorker, helps women professionals, entrepreneurs, and women in ministry to unlock and embrace their unique beauty and inspire confidence through their personal style. She believes the definition of a well-dressed woman is one who is confidently dressed from the inside and out.
Tanya attended the renowned Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City where she studied fashion buying and merchandising. She later went on to earn her bachelor of science in business administration: management from Shaw University. Today, while pursuing her entrepreneurial dream, she works in the corporate world of commercial banking. Tanya aspires to encourage, empower, and help women discover their own voice and purpose by sharing her life’s journey. A young single mother at the age of eighteen, then going through a traumatic divorce, she was determined to turn her pain and disappointments into stepping stones to her purpose. Through her styling work, writing, and speaking, she has found her true calling.
In August 2022, Tanya became a first-time author of a book anthology entitled Words of Wisdom for the Heart and Soul. Tanya has also been featured in Today’s Purpose Woman Magazine.
Tanya is a loving wife and mother of two amazing daughters and loves spending time with family and friends. She is the chief executive officer and founder of Styles By ChaVanni a women’s styling service and boutique building confidence, one woman, one outfit at a time.
