Jameelah G. Scott is a certified procurement executive with over 15 years of progressive experience supporting public institutions in the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is known for her ability to lead complex acquisitions, ensure regulatory compliance, and deliver strategic value across academic and administrative units.
Ms. Scott holds the Commonwealth’s top procurement certification, a Virginia Contracting Master (VCM), along with being certified as a Virginia Contracting Officer (VCO), Contracting Associate (VCA), Contract Administrator and Risk Management professional(VCARM), and holds the CUPO, a credential that solidifies her knowledge as a Certified University Procurement Officer. Her expertise spans contract management, policy implementation, vendor engagement, and procurement operations that support institutional excellence.
She has served as a facilitator for the Virginia Institute of Procurement’s Statewide Forum and maintains active memberships in NIGP, NAEP, and VAGP, among other professional organizations. Purpose-driven and impact-focused, Ms. Scott views procurement not simply as a process, but as a strategic function essential to the mission of higher education.
