Session Topic:

Your Presence Speaks First: How Image Shapes Influence and Impact

Session Description:

Image Consultant and Mastectomy Fitter Crystal Napier reveals how presence, behavior, and communication shape the influence women carry in both professional and personal spaces. She blends research with lived experience to show why image is more than clothing — it is character, consistency, and the energy you bring into every room. Following the keynote, Crystal leads a hands‑on workshop that helps participants identify how they currently show up, how they want to be perceived, and how to align their inner identity with their outer presentation through simple, powerful techniques that elevate confidence and authenticity.

About our Speaker…

Crystal Napier, originally from Afton, Virginia, now resides in Greene County, Virginia with her husband, Marine Corps Veteran and Senior Intelligence Analyst Shaun, their fun-loving and inquisitive son Micah, and their lovable pup Simba. As the owner and stylist of Renee’s Boutique, Crystal has spent the past 12 years helping women look and feel their best through personalized styling, professional fit expertise, and confidence-centered guidance.

Established in 2014, Renee’s Boutique began as a dream to create a welcoming space where women of all sizes, shapes, and styles could enjoy a personalized, judgment-free shopping experience. Over time, the mission expanded to embrace inclusivity, comfort, and wellness — supporting women through every stage of life.

Crystal is a Certified Image Consultant, Certified Mastectomy Fitter, and Professional Bra Fitter, blending fashion, fit, and wellness to help women feel seen, supported, and comfortable. Her work is deeply personal. Watching her aunt, who has special needs, navigate breast cancer changed Crystal’s life. Helping her find the post-surgical garments she needed — and later styling her in clothing that restored her confidence — revealed that healing is about more than surviving. It’s about feeling like yourself again. This experience, along with witnessing countless women face similar challenges, inspired Crystal to pursue mastectomy-fitter certification to complement her image-consulting expertise.

As an entrepreneur, Certified Image Consultant, Certified Mastectomy Fitter, and nonprofit founder, Crystal has built her work around helping women transform how they see themselves — whether they are rebuilding confidence after breast cancer, preparing for a new career opportunity, or rediscovering their personal style. Her journey has been shaped by balancing motherhood, family, and the realities of navigating the world as a Black woman entrepreneur. Through every challenge, her commitment has remained the same: to uplift women and remind them that their circumstances do not define their worth.

Crystal’s mission is rooted in empowerment. In 2026, she hosted Elevate Your Image, Elevate Your Future, a transformative event designed to help women strengthen their confidence, elevate their professional presence, and embrace their full potential. The event expanded her community impact and reinforced her belief that when women feel confident, they show up differently — for themselves, their families, and their futures.

Beyond Renee’s Boutique, Crystal has demonstrated deep dedication to service. She served as President of the Piedmont Housing Alliance Board of Directors and actively participated in the Charlottesville Regional Chamber of Commerce, including the Minority Business Alliance and Business Women’s Roundtable. She is currently an active member of White Rock Baptist Church in Arrington, VA, where she serves as Marketing Director.

In 2023, Crystal collaborated with Sisters In Christ to establish Crystal’s Career Closet, a faith-based nonprofit providing professional clothing on a donation basis to individuals preparing for new opportunities. The organization reflects her belief that confidence, dignity, and opportunity should be accessible to everyone.

Crystal holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in African American Studies and American Government from the University of Virginia, a Master of Business Administration from Liberty University, and certifications in fashion and personal styling from The Styling Academy International — including 12-Season Color Analysis Certification. She is also a Certified Mastectomy Fitter through the Board of Certification/Accreditation (BOC), a graduate of the Center for Nonprofit Excellence Board Academy, and an alumna of the Community Investment Collaborative (CIC).

Her journey has not been easy. As a woman of faith, Crystal has relied on God’s guidance while building a business and nonprofit as a Black woman, navigating societal barriers, and raising her Black son to believe in his limitless potential. Balancing the roles of entrepreneur, nonprofit founder, mother, wife, daughter, sister, aunt, friend, and confidante has strengthened her resilience and shaped her purpose.

Crystal is guided by her commitment to God, family, and continual personal growth. Her life’s work reflects her dedication to serving others with compassion, excellence, and purpose — helping women reclaim comfort, confidence, and the freedom to show up fully as themselves.
