Dr. Tyreese R. McAllister is a highly esteemed Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Certified Sex Offender Treatment Provider (CSOTP), Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), and trauma-informed leader with over 30 years of dedicated experience in emergency mental health. As the founder and CEO of Clinical & Forensic Associates (CFA), she has become a trusted force in advancing community wellness, public safety, and transformational training for high risk professionals.
With a career spanning three decades across Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia, Dr. McAllister has worked extensively with law enforcement, first responders, educators, and high risk populations. Her specialized expertise equips public safety professionals to safely and effectively engage individuals in crisis, manage high risk encounters, and navigate the personal and professional stressors that impact performance. Under her leadership, CFA delivers evidence based therapeutic services and innovative training programs that strengthen officer wellness, emotional intelligence, and trauma responsive engagement. Her work is grounded in the belief that mental health is inseparable from public safety—and that resilient officers build resilient communities.
Beyond her clinical and forensic impact, Dr. McAllister is a transformational voice whose life radiates purpose, power, and profound healing. She is the founder of The Ayana J. McAllister Legacy Foundation, where she has transformed personal tragedy into a national movement of advocacy, restoration, and violence prevention. Dr. McAllister is also the co founder of Modern Proverbs 31 Woman, a faith-centered empowerment initiative that curates retreats, branded resources, and generational archives for women of faith.
