Metropolitan Archbishop Olive C. Brown

Leader | Author | Speaker | Consultant

Session Topic:

Tearing Down the Yellow Tape of Doubt and Fear.

Session Description:

This presentation explores how God dismantles every form of “yellow tape” that tries to restrict your calling, confidence, and inheritance. Through the courage of Shiphrah and Puah, you’ll see how quiet obedience can defy the whips and bricks of intimidation. The daughters of Zelophehad will show you how to cross man‑made boundaries and boldly claim what God has already assigned to you. Miriam’s praise will remind you that worship is a weapon that silences wilderness anxiety and announces victory even before the path looks safe. Together, these stories reveal a powerful truth: when you fear God more than Pharaoh (man), step over limitations, and praise through uncertainty, you tear down every barrier that once kept you bound.

About our Speaker…

Metropolitan Archbishop Reverend Dr. Olive Chamblin Brown was born in Richmond, Virginia. The daughter of the Late Elder Randolph and Bishop Annie Chamblin, she attended the Richmond City Public Schools and Van Dy Vyver Catholic School. An advocate of higher education, she attained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Sociology/Social Work, a Master of Divinity Degree both from Virginia Union University and, last, an Honorary Doctor of Theology Degree from Trinity Bible College in Richmond, Virginia. In 1993, Metropolitan Archbishop Brown was consecrated to the Office of Bishop and founded the International Christian Ministries, Inc. (ICM); and later, she was elevated to Chief Apostle. Metropolitan Archbishop Reverend Dr. Olive C. Brown was consecrated Metropolitan Archbishop on December 4, 2023.

Married to the Late Bishop James F. Brown, Jr. for 27 years, five children were born to this union: James Ferguson Brown III, Rosalyn Beatrice Brown Williams, Joel Vincent Brown, Marvin Gerald Brown Sr, and Caretta Faith Brown Smallwood, all actively involved in Kingdom work.

By virtue of over 60 years of ministry, there are three impactful reasons that make Metropolitan Archbishop an amazing Kingdom Ambassador to ministries and leaders in this era! She has God-given strategies to administrate with: (1) Character, (2) Wisdom, and (3) Judgment. Because she operates as a developer and producer, Metropolitan Archbishop Brown has led this fast-growing body of Kingdom People over the years to the purchase of several churches and nearly 40 acres of land in Virginia. A mentor to many, she has established the College of Female Bishops, Apostles, and Pastors Incorporated to empower people of God to thrive in the Kingdom. A noteworthy author, Metropolitan Archbishop Brown has published at least eight books and other types of publications. Additionally, she has collaborated with agencies in provision of services to families, particularly the American Red Cross. Metropolitan Archbishop Brown founded the Metro-Richmond Community Development Corporation; worked as a Pediatric Social Worker for the University of North Carolina; and managed a Christian Sociology and Counseling Center. Furthermore, she has networked with the local awareness of human trafficking team; the Yeshua’s House Domestic Violence Shelter; and the Richmond and Petersburg City Public Schools systems in spearheading School Supplies, Clothing, and Christmas Toy Drives for youth. Metropolitan Archbishop Brown has been blessed to accomplish much, and seeing lives changed and helped brings the greatest joy to her life.
